MEMORIAL TO THE SOCIETY OF MARY: This annual award is made possible by our Student Council who began saving money in 1962 for a Trust Fund to provide for this award at A.C.H.S. It is awarded to the graduate with theTITghest overall academic average for four years at A.( H.S. THE AMERICAN LEGION AWARD: This award is designed to place emphasis on the qualities of scholarships, character, leadership, honesty, courage, and achievement in students. The winners are MICHEAL G. ASBURY and KATHLEEN L. KIEHL. BAUSCH LOMB AWARD: The Bausch Lomb Science Award recognizes the senior with the highest scholastic standing in science subjects. This award is presented each year to winners in more than 8,b00 participating schools throughout the United States and Canada. This year Althoff makes the award to LOUIS REIFSCHNEIDER. WOMAN OF THE YEAR: This award is presented in recognition of athletic achievements, in the field of women ' s sports, in the hopes that others will be encouraged to follow her example. It is presented to TRACY ROWAN. The National Merit $1000.00 scholarship sponsored by Rockwell International Corporation Trust in recognition of outstanding performance and promise for future intellectual achievement for 1978 is awarded to MACHEAL G.
