OCT. 6—Student Council President Bob Rigney addresses as¬ sembly of honored guests and ACHS student body at dedication ceremonies for Althoff ' s valued Freedom Shrine. DEC. 19—Fr. Me Evilly directs ACHS Band during their first annual Christmas Concert held in Althoff ' s gym. In addition to the events represented on these two pages were a number of other highlights of this school year which could not be pictured here. For instance, there was the Althoff Benefit Dinner held at Fischer’s Restaurant (Jan. 18), the winning of the first-place trophy by the Freshman Crusaders in the Mater Dei Tournament (Feb. 5), the B.T.H.S. basketball game (Feb. 18), the Regional Basketball Tournament held at Althoff (Feb. 28-Mar. 4), the Senior Prom, the Senior Farewell Dance, and Class and Graduation Day. These, then, along with others which may have been forgotten or omitted, are the events which made this past year a memorable one. JAN. 20—Bus carrying Mr. Rickert, Mr. Horvat, and 22 Althoff seniors departs for St. Mary ' s University in San Antonio, where the group stayed for two days. JAN. 22 — Althoff ' s Debate Team proudly displays the trophy they won for placing sec¬ ond in the Novice Division of the Belleville Invitational Meet held at Township. They are, from left to right: John Genetti, Dan Edwards, Mike Eschenfelder, and Mike Mar¬ tino. JAN. 22— The Crusaders set a scoring record against Freeburg by scoring 83 points. ’ 65-66 DEC. 23—Fr. Bruening (with accordion) and Fr. Misho (in back¬ ground on drums) clown with the Anonymous Enunciators dur¬ ing Althoff ' s Talent Show.
