gn bvoozby Emory On October 1, 1964 Mr. O. C. Landers died in his home in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Although he had retired as superintendent of Altheimer Schools on June 30, 1960, Mr. Landers was still very much a part of the school and community. Few pupils in this school had not been touched and made immeasurably richer by that contact with Mr. Landers. His compassion, his wisdom, his understanding, and his desire to help had at some time or other lifted us from discouragement. His memory in the hearts of students of Altheimer High School will forever remain a shining monu- ment to one who embodied everything an educator should be.

i W T L-Y .am 'Ur JOYCE BRADLEY gn ,MTQIZQ 0170122 This page is placed in the 1964-65 issue of The Torch in loving memory of Joyce Bradley who died September 7, 1963. The years- since that tragic event have sped by, but our remembrance of her shall be forever fresh. We recall with sadness and yet with pleasure her shy humor, her sincere interest in everyone around her, and, above all, her love and loyalty for her family, her friends, and her school. There will be a vacancy in that file of blue caps and gowns on graduation night, but in each of our hearts will be a warm glow as we cherish the memory of one so forever dear to us all. The Senior Class
