He also dedicates extra time for eighth graders, such as Regina Shelton, since their remaining four years are crucial. Ships Ahoy: Excess rain in September halted traffic through Altavista and surrounding areas. With a delay in traffic, county schools were closed opening day. Likewise, Seventh and Main Streets were impassable due to the near record crest of Staunton River. Martin A job done with love.
