Principal Assistant Principal I wish to express my sincere thanks to the stu- dents and faculty advisors who have given unself- ishly of their time and talent in order to make the Nuntius a reality. I would also hope that not only have you given of your abilities but that you have profited from a sense of achievement, a growing satisfaction in seeing this yearbook become a reality. The Nuntius is a record of the students, the fac- ulty, and the events of this school year. However, we hope that the educational experiences gained this school year go beyond what is contained within the covers of this yearbook. If your educational experiences have helped instill in you a sense of awareness, this would be the greatest achievement of all. This generation of young people needs, above all, to be aware of the great potentialities which face our community, state, nation, and the world. There is the potentiality for betterment of our soci- ety and the potential to destroy our society. By realizing the greatest use of our potential we can develop those qualities of sensitivity, courage, creativity, adventuresomeness, and sacrifice which will help end pollution, poverty, discrimination, and lawlessness. We must look upon the years ahead not so much as a struggle for survival but rather as a challenge to each of us to realize our fullest potential.
