As public director of recreation during summer months, this competent man has won the respect of the entire community. With pride and gratitude we dedicate the Nuntius to Coach Harold Drumheller, a man who maintains an attitude of dignity and reserve at all times, TAtank ion pry : wt Alexander of Macedon ¢ . Once upon a time, there was an energetic, hard-working, peppy class called “Junior.” It came into the world September 3, 1963. Even in its infant stage, its list of accomplishments was great. It gave its first dance in October, which was a smashing success. It worked tirelessly for weeks before the Homecoming parade to build a float which floated away with third prize. “Junior” did even better in the Christmas parade, and won sec- ond prize for its float, “Winter Wonderland, which it entered for Leggett's Department store. In March, “Junior” produced a play and won renown for its great acting ability. Then, in May, came the highlight of “Junior's” successful year, when it used its creative ability to build the Junior-Senior Prom into a dazzling fantasyland. By now we are well established in our interests and activities. We know that since we shall be upperclassmen next year, we shall have to ac- cept the responsibilities of lead - ership. Our class this year has been engaged in several money-mak- ing projects for funds which will come up during our high school lives. During the summer we held a bottle drive. Much work and effort were put into a home- coming float which failed only in giving us financial gains. Selling popcorn, and sponsoring a dance made up for this. Our class, becaus e of its many good workers, is capable of accom- plishing many worthwhile things. | Aubrey Cantley Hugh Cothran Lynn Cothran Carolyn Cox Richard Cox Donnie Creasy Gail Creasy Mickey Crouch Reggie Dalton Paul Davis Paulette Davis Gary Dooley Dianne Doss Danny Dowdy Karen Downing James Elliot Dearing Fauntleroy James Frazier Deborah Gowen Carol Jean Grau Larry Hall Marion Hall Mary Ann Hall Cyndy Hart Larry Haynes Linda Hiner Jenny Hiner Raymond Holdren Barbara Hudson Carolyn Hudson Linda Keesee Linda Kegley Sandra Kershaw Shirley Preas Billy Prebble Nancy Price Lindsay Reavis Barry Reynolds Janice Reynolds Kenneth Reynolds Patricia Reynolds Jeannie Robbins Max Rolfe Julie Rountrey Steve Searcy Jimmy Kinlaw James Layne Lana Maness Roy Maschal Janet Mays Joan Moore Billy Morris Russell Morris Carol Mortimer Carolyn Moss Jane Newman Dennis Nichols Patrica Paggans Jerry Peters Ivan Philpott Julie Poe Wayne Shelton Harry Sherwood Phillip Short Betty Singleton Bobby Singleton Richard Singleton Sheila Sink Lyndell Skeen Donnie Smith Smitty Smith Regina Stevens Billy Trogdon Deborah Tuck Janet Tucker Kay Tucker Johnny Vaughan Lynne Watts Dale West Jo Anne West Sandra West Richard Wilborn Charles Wilkerson Gary Williams Carol Wills Chester Witt Ricky Witt H. Good sportsmanship gives us a higher score, When the teams are playing out on the floor, In football season, too, we see A float called Golden Memory, “ The result of hard work by our grade, We worked night and day to get it made. Also the Thanksgiving Dance we gave, And made lots of money for us to save. Nobody knows what the future will hold, But a past we're proud of is what we've told.
