Al- though she has not been with us very long, she has won many friends by her sweet ways and pleasing personality. She js one of our great humorists—and by her “acrobatic con- tortions” she almost forces us to believe that our ancestors hung by their tails from trees. ELSIE ELIZABETH EADES “Squelsie,” “Elsie Jane” Assistant Editor-in-Chief Nuntius, 29; Sec- retary Class, °29; Student Government, ’27; President, 29; President Spanish Club, ’27; Jefferson Literary Society, ’27, ’28; Historian of Class. “Quiet in appearance with motive unknown.” Elsie is one of the few people who possess the qualities of kindness, studiousness, deter- mination and high scholarship. She is always ready to lend a helping hand to her class- mates, and is much admired by her class as well as by her teachers.
