Using FANCY FOOTWORK Players Conquer Originating in China, soccer has become the most rapidly growing sport, played in more than 140 countries around the world. A succesful soccer player must have agility, the ability to handle the ball, intelligence, and speed, com- ments Tony Cox. Though each play- er’s individual performance is very important to a soccer team’s suc- cess, even more essential is team work and unity. Supporting each other on and off the field, is a good way to in- crease team unity, according to another team member Scott Stod- dart. A team, working together, us- ing each other’s strengths and weaknesses is always successful, in the developed friendships built through teamwork, if nothing else. You perform better when you feel that members of your team sup- port you, says Aaron Inglish. Though expected to place in the state championships, the team “Will go as far as we put out, Craig Gar- ner states, which sets a positive light on things, because of the strong de- termination which has helped the team work together in defeating their opponents. We work hard, we have the will power to accomplish the goals we set, and the skill to go all the way, says Scott Graesser.
