Production Teams Strive For Excellence DRAMA CLUB In a social setting serious thespi- ans and students who are just be- ginning to appreciate drama work together to promote unity and friendship within the department. STAGE CREW The stage crew has helped with many school and community pro- ductions, including set and light de- sign. Working in conjunction with the art department and Mrs. Dodge, they helped with band and orches- tra concerts. Dance Company, and all drama productions. REACT Through improvisation and pro- cessing. REACT has given students ideas and alternatives for dealing with drug and alcohol abuse, teen pregnancy, and home relationships. The troupe has performed for com- munity church groups, seminars, and elementary and middle schools. REACT members Annie Anderson and Scott Wardle perform for substance abuse classes. Dancing And Marching Their Way To With the goal of keeping students entertained, the LaScelles and Dance Company worked extra hard this year. Coming to school at 6 A.M. with their hair in curlers and the usual morning face, was only part of it. During Homecoming the Dance Company sponsored a Mr. Wonder- ful contest and sold rose-a-grams. They also treated the student body with performances in the Christmas assembly, the school musical, bas- The Top ketball halftimes, and their May con- cert. The LaScelles participated in many competitions including the Rocky Mountain Competition where they finished first. Performing for half-time entertainment meant that many Saturdays were spent practic- ing. “It took a lot of time and effort, said Carrie Thompson, “but it was well worth it. Twirling their skirts.
