Omar Cowpieski Predicts Editors note: Four years ago the Accipi- tor staff invited noted psychic and parapsy- chologist, Omar Cowpieski to make his pre- dictions for the upcoming year of 1983. His uncanny sense of the future and accuracy made his predictions a popular aspect of that yearbook. We have invited Mr. Cow- pieski to once again make his predictions for 1987. Shirley MacLaine will produce a sequel to her television mini-series, this time based on her encounter with an amputeed alien in Southern America — the show will run off PBS and be entitled “Out on an Artifical Limb ’. Twisted Sister in an unusual move will team up with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir to record the album “The Greatest Hit of Debby Boone”. A disaster of major proportions will hit Salt Lake City in 1987. A tidal wave originating from a ruptured pump at the Great Salt Lake will sweep through the downtown area knocking over several tall buildings and leav- ing heavy salt deposits on the Main Street Brigham Young Statue. A new toothpaste wil be marketed for wild birds — Falcon Crest. Joan Collins will appear on talk shows ad- vocating her new exercise program. The program will consist of erotic and sexually oriented, x-rated moves to lose weight while stripping. Her new video casette Joan Collins Disrobics will be a top-ten seller. Tom Cruise, riding on the popularity of his number one movie of last year will star in a similar vehicle for '87.; This time Tom will play the part of an internationally fam- ous sewer skimmer. The movie, Top Gunk will come out in the fall. Literally, a new miracle drug will be li- censed by the F.D.A. ... This new drug, a mixture of Miracle Whip and super glue will be brushed inside the nostrils. Sinus troubles and hayfever symptoms will be relieved and nose hairs will be condition- ed at the same time. Lee lacoca will receive mystical mes- sages from an outer space planet name Raylon. These voices will advise him against running for President of the Unit- ed States and to seek a position on a local school board. Nell Carter and Pavaroti will become the official spokespersons for Sun Valley Water Beds. Big and Tall Shops.
