the pace were Dave Burton, and Trevor Gough coming in first and second. Lead- ing the Homecoming Parade, the Seniors, dressed as firemen, stating “the Class of '87 is Forever on Fire.” The most unique and worthwhile aspect of the parade was Mr. Esquire, Trent Ogden, and his equally handsome attendants, Danny Ray and Todd Templeton. The Pep Rally immedi- ately followed the parade. The cheer- leaders attempted to excite the students and the football team for the upcoming game against Brighton but the rally ended abruptly with an order from the adminis- tration. The student body was upset with the interruption, foreshadowing the heart- breaking disappointment to come. In spite of inclimate weather and a small home crowd, the team displayed their practiced play execution and waged a tough battle against the Brighton Ben- gals. Rushing home from the game, students dressed their best for the evening’s Homecoming Dance. Black, red and sil- ver balloons along with long strips of red cellophane created an appropriate atmo- sphere. The week ended successfully as couples danced to the tunes of “Souve- nir.” Homecoming 13 Chosen as the winner ot Mr. Esquire. Trent Ogden and finalists Danny Ray and Todd Templeton flaunt that macho image Supporting the Hockey Club booth. Trent Gardiner prepares himself to stop incoming goals shot by fair goers.
