Being a sophomore is like graduating into sudden maturity — no longer a confused, naive, and obnoxious freshman. At the beginning of this phase, the sophomore looks to a future of driving, dating and gaining the re- spect of upperclassmen. After struggling for a year to obtain these goals, a sophomore begins his next journey — becoming a junior. “To me,” remarked Chris Howells, “the most rewarding as- pect of being a class officer is serving the school and having the opportunity to participate in var- ious activities. When people tell me I’m doing a good job, it gives me the greatest feeling of satis- faction and accomplishment which makes all our hard work worthwhile.” Soph.
