Strictly speaking, the Night of Janu-
ary 16th,' is a play without a heroine, but
Connie Lichtenberg was chosen for the
leading feminine part, that of Karen
Andre, defendant in the murder trial. Nor
had it a hero, the principal male role being
that of the prosecuting attorney, Kenneth
Quirk, and the defense attorney, Norman
Peterson.
Twelve important members of the cast
were chosen the night of the performance.
These were the jury, who listened to the
evidence and rendered their 10-2 verdict
of guilty!
