C 4. WWW In preparing for a well-adjusted life, we must learn to share household tasks. We help by caring for our clothing, by shining up the car, by washing dishes, plus other jobs. Being able to do these things is rewarding in many ways. Also important in our day are our associations with others. We look forward to the evenings spent with friends or that certain person. Parties, dances, and other school activities play a big part in our recreation. Curfew always seems to come too soon!

Wzth Hzs Blessmgs from Above Our school and our churches work hand in hand in molding well-balanced individuals who are capable of assuming responsible positions in the community. We are provided with inspirational guidance in our Sunday School, Church, Thursday night choir practice, and the meetings of our Youth Groups. Family life is an important part of our day. Our parents do more than feed and clothe us. They console us in our problems and congratulate us in our triumphs. A happy home is the basis of our security. ll

'L DEDICATION We, the graduating class of 1957, would like to show our appreciation to Nels Berndt, our custo- dian. Mr. Berndt has been a custodian at the Alta school for 20 years. He began working at our school in 1937. Since our kindergarten days he has shown us his good humor and has helped us considerably. Throughout the years Nels has made the build- ing a clean healthy place for the students to work. Whenever he had some spare time Nels would try to fill the requests of helping for the banquet, thc class play, or even making stands for the Christ- mas trees.
