Dedication W lZ't ? eg Wanda Walter, district deputy clerk for nine Q W years and school secretary for 12, has been a valuable asset to Alsea school for 21 years. We dedicate this annual to her in honor of her service to Alsea students, and in honor of her retirement. Her primary job was to maintain and balance all t the district's financial books and accounts, which she did with great competence. She was in charge of ordering all materials, equipment, and supplies, and saved money by pooling orders with other schools. Superintendents always found her a great resource because she had been at the school for so long, and she helped them by filling out and filing their reports. Other responsibilities were handling insurance for all employees, finding substitutes, and taking minutes at all school board meetings. She had many little-known talents, too, such as Above: Wanda and Cotton Walter are guests at banquet. Flight: 3 fT1GCil3DiC8i ability to repair office maCi'tinery.
