Freshmen The freshmen raised money by making, painting, and selling ceramic unicorns and also by doing cake raffles. Class officers were president Chris Bauer, vice-president Mike Pearson, secretary Rhonda Lee, treasurer Jill Olsen, and sergeant-at-arms Dennis Hendrix. Mel Atwood advised the class. ln Honor Of Junette Junette Zandofsky became involved in 1976 with Alsea schools as a bus driver, after which she was a library aide for six years. Junette was a well-loved, cheerful person who could be counted on to lighten up a person's day. wx ln almost any situation, she could be found sharing a joke or two with students or teachers. She was a tremendous help in the school as an aide, and as a friend to students. lf someone wanted a friend or a person to talk to, Junette could be relied upon to be a good listener and 55, offer suggestions. Until her death from cancer in January of 1983, Junette, though circumstances might have dictated otherwise, remained a cheerful person with a positive outlook. She still thought of others. She will be missed and remembered for a long time to come. Flight: Junette worked closely with Patsy Jones in her job as library aide.
