Seniors You, the seniors, have finally reached your goal. During these years since you first entered Alpena High School, you have done many wonderful things together, as a class and in different clubs and organizations ...... Your year was highlighted by such things as the senior play .... all the glitter and glamour of the Junior-Senior Prom at Christmas and the Senior Prom in the spring. . .the excitement of donning cap and gown for the first time .... the eagerness to try new things ahead, reluctance to part with old, familiar school surroundings and friends .... Your life here has been rich, exciting, rewarding. You witnessed the beginning of the Sputnik age, heard rumblings of plans for dramatic changes in the philoso- phy of education ....
