i I was sent on an assignment by the FBI to find the missing persons of the Class of 1956 . They graduated with me a long Z0 years ago, but I knew their ambitions, and from there I went to find them. I boarded a plane and started for the Air Force Headquarters. The General walked up to me and it was General Millard Jones. Millard always did talk about 2 years of college and then the Air Force. I guess he carried out his plans. We had a good talk and then I left for Spokane. I landed in Spokane and went to the Sacred Heart Hospital. When I walked in, there was an Admiral from the Navy. He turned around when he heard me and it was none other than Duane Tolonen. I guess he got his wish. Haven't I seen that nurse somewhere before? Yes, that's Mary K. Portch. It seems that she is a registered nurse and Admiral Tolonen had his men all checked by her. When I left the hospital, I walked down the street and looked up just in time to see a sign, Lorretta's Beauty Shoppe. I graduated with Lorretta Carstensen, who always wanted to become a beauty operator. I went inside and made an app- ointment and when I left, I asked her about her twin sister, Lorraine. She gave me an address to go to. When I got to this address, I knocked on the door and a little girl answered. She told me her mother was inside. Yes, that was Lorraine Carstensen, who married a farmer after four years of college and is now a busy housewife and mother. I left Lorraine s house and decided to travel to Almira. When I got near the town, I noticed signs all along the road saying something about Gerald's Shop. I remembered Gerald Scammon and wondered if that could be him. I pulled my car into a parking lot and went over to where many people were standing. I edged my way through the large crowd and ran into Gerald with a big cigar in his mouth. When we were in high school, Gerald always worked at Flick's but I understand that Mr. Flick sold and Gerald became owner. I left Gerald's Shop and went up to the school house. This brought back many memories. I looked in one classroom and there stood a teacher reading to the second graders. I took another look and noticed it was Bernadine Heathman. I knocked on the door and we chatted for a while. I found out that she began teaching after four years of college. I got into my car and started to Spokane. When I arrived, there I noticed quite a few ladies being attracted to something. I parked my car and went to see what this was all about. When I got in the middle of the circle, there stood Nick Campbell, another member of the class. He is a playboy in Hollywood, California. But he travels to Spokane every weekend. He still hasn't found the right woman, but taking a look around here, it doesn't look like he has too far to go. I left this mob and walked on down the street. Coming into view was the Old National Bank. I went in and looked around. One of the workers was Carolyn Frenn. It seems that they need a secretary to do some work and Carolyn landed the job. She always did talk about becoming a secretary. After getting over the shock of seeing all these people, I crawled on a plane and reported back to the FBI. Everyone I saw seemed so happy and very successful.
