I saw a girl With a pretty curl, Wanda Logue I have a little dog That is black and white. His name is Tippy-nippy, And he can't be quiet. Patricia Hines The Funny Giraffe I went down to the circus one day, I saw a giraffe that was pushing a buggy. In the buggy was a real, little hen. I fed the giraffe some hay. The giraffe would not eat it. When he started to eat the hay his head fell off Inside was a tall thin man. Patrick Donoho, Jr. The Birds In winter when the ice and snow is on the ground our room feeds the birds. We feed them on our window ledges. At first the birds didn't come to eat because they weren't used to us feeding them. Soon they began to come every day. In spmmer the birds still come to get food, but we don't feed them then because they can get worms out of the ground. They can get bugs, too. The Goldfish Bowl The fish bowl has marbles, rocks, and trees inside It has water in it. One gold fish died. I saw a robin with breast so red, I could hardly believe my eyes, As on his limb, he swung to and fro. He seemed to- say, I don't mind the snow.
