Wm ' J Ji n f m ' ■ m The Institute for Educational Management is organized as an affiliated arm of the Graduate School of Leadership and Human Behaviour at United States International University. The purpose of the Institute is to undertake research and development tasks in coopration with and for school districts, colleges, universities and related educational agencies in the educational management and planning fields. The Institute is designed to provide the vehicle for direct field experi- ence in the training program for selected school and college administrators who are pursuing doctoral studies in the Graduate School of Leadership and Human Behaviour. The Institute plans the individual research and develop- ment project with the school or college and selects personnel from within USIU, other institutions of higher education or from the general field of education to apply their special knowledge to problem solving for the project. Graduate students in educational administration may be invited to participate in ongoing projects being carried out by the Institute to enlarge their experience and to assist in applying theoretical models to live educational problems. The Institute will offer a limited number of graduate fellowships Mrs. Cardenas in educational administration.
