BAND HAS NEW UNIFORMS Sept. 28 While I was sitting in the bleachers dur- ing the East Liverpool game, I kept seeing red. I soon discovered that it Wasnit the catsup from my hotdogl No, believe it or not, the band has new uniforms. Gosh, but they're flashy! Red jackets and .blue trousers with a red stripe slink- ing to the bottom of the pant leg. But now I Wonder how I ever noticed the band because after I saw the major- ettes, my eyes went out of focus. My peepers made a cross-eyed figure eight each time drum majorette Barb Wilson and Mary Messenheimer, her as- sistant, did a fancy twirl with their batons.
