To The Faculty We, the senior classes of 1942, gratefully dedicate this Chronicle, in extending to you our extreme appreciation for your inexhaustible patience and your straightforward, understanding guidance through these most important years of our education. We thank you in particular for helping us to live together, to cooperate with each other, and most important, to be individuals. You taught us how to reason, think, and act for ourselves in a time when individual reasoning, thinking, and acting is somewhat cast aside. You have helped us choose careers, and fit us for them. However, you have given us not only the beginning of a means of living, but also a clearer understanding of a way of life which is of utmost importance to every American-the American way of life. The Senior Classes. 5
