FACULTY Industrial Arts and Home Economics Departments In the home economics department are Miss Maude Lee Dorsey, head of the department Knot in the picturej, Miss Marie Dettmer, Miss Margaret Gongwer, and Miss Edith Jones Cnot in the picturej. In the industrial arts department are Mr. Robert Wade, head of the de- partment, Mr. E. E. Kidwell, Mr. Rus- sell Miller, Mr. Leland Whitacre, Mr. James Willielm, and Mr. Charles Youmans. Science Departments In the science departments are Miss Charlene Burrell, head of the biology department, and Mr. Arthur Combs, who also teaches biology, Miss Ruth Dowler, who teaches home hy- giene, Mr. Clyde Stanley, head of the general science department, and Mr. William Anderson, who also teaches general science, Mr. R. S. Coppock, head of the physics department, and Mr. Ben Temple, head of the chem- istry department. Commercial Department In the commercial department are Miss Eugenia Moses, head of the de- partment, Miss Charlotte Baker, Mr. Earl Carter, Miss Ruth Cherrington, Mrs. Helen Patterson, and Miss Thelma Varner. Miss Nellie Meyers is secre- tary to Principal J. E. Vaughan. Miss Vera Kaufman is on a leave of absence. Coaching and Music Departments Miss Eva Lee Sackett directs the glee clubs and the orchestra, and Mr. Stanley Lutz, the band. Miss Lucile Pettis has charge of the girls' physical education classes. Dr. George Wilco-Xon is head football coach, and Mr. Leland Whitacre is athletic co-ordinator.
