@C 14£ The class of '53 started out with a group of about fifteen students. During our early years of school, we lost a few pupils, but gained new ones. Jim Bellamy was with us until our Sophomore Year. He then returned in our Senior Year, after living in Wellsboro. Lucia Seely started school in Allentown, but moved to Richburg. She then resumed school in Allen- town. Joyce Stephens Shields joined us in the Second Grade and has been a member of our class ever since. In our Sophomore Year, we were glad to have Gene Swarthout Join us. Having decided to work, Duane Griswold quit for a year, but rejoined us in our Junior Year. Carl Kruger went to the Scio School, but came back two years later and Don Pye came along in the Sixth Grade. Thelia Bartlett and Barbara Adams have been here all twelve years. In our Freshman Year, we sold pop com at basketball games and had some members participate in Dramatics. The Sophomore Year was put to selling fudge, having a movie and a game night. In the summer, we started our first of two summers at the Angelica Fair, which was a lot of fun. The Junior Year went along quite quietly. Then came our Senior Year when we put on a good mystery play and a supper. We also sold magazines. Now we are waiting for June 22.

Duane Griswold wills his harmonica to the basketball players, so they will have something to play going to and from basketball games. Jim Bellamy wills his ability to get through High School in 2 1 2 years to Chick Thompson. Joyce Shields wills her long fingernails to the girls who bite theirs. Larry Wlghtman wills his 6' to Gene Schram for next year's basketball team. Don Pye wills his forgetfulness to Gene Schram.
