Outstanding among these were the performance for Dr. Carter, State Supervisor of Music; the annual Spring Concert in March, and the Genesee Country Music Festival in May, at Houghton College. The (liris’ Glee Club which was the first musical organization in Allen- town High School lias grown from a group of 15 members in 1932 to a group ’of 28 in 1936. Activities during the four years have included performances at the Genesee Country Music Festival, at Houghton College, appearances in School assembly programs, Spring Concerts, Commencement and P. T. A. Programs. Another year we hope to have an additional period for glee club so that this organization may also be eligible for high school credit.
