m Ml :Moves NNNNN 47 BASKETBALL 'ae There was a total number of 21 boys that came out for basketball this year. The practice sessions began about 6 weeks before the first ball game was scheduled. The boys worked very hard every evening after school in order to turn out a basketball team which later was successful in the season. Out of the thirty-three ball games we played, we won twenty-eight. We played in the finals of the Little Ten Tourney but lost to Crossville. We then went to the District Tourney and won it by a one point margin over St. Francisville. As winner of the District we went to the Regional at Mt. Carmel. We played our first game with Albion and won by a fine margin. After we won our first game in the Regional we played Crossville in our second game and were defeated by one point.
