..,.,,..,.,,.. - ..,..,. ,,,.,.,,,,,,..,,.,,.., BASKETBALL SQUAD '25 Left to right: Back row: Nelson Reiber, James Wolfe, Bernard McFarland, Donald Litherland, Gene Johnson, Ryland Webb. Middle row: Mr. Atkinson, Donald Mann, Jerry Potts, James Watkin, Billy Sparks, Donald Price, Donald Burris. Front row: J. A. McFarland, Bob Robinson, Bobby Discus, Billy Wolfe, Wayne Spidel, Carl Shepard, Jimmy McDonald. The above named boys went out for basketball this year. Of course, not all of them made the squad, but they tried hard. The team has had a very successful year, due to good playing and good cheering sections. We wish the next team as good a luck! CHEERLEADERS 'ii Left to right: Marjorie Price, Jo Ann Brinkley, Gretchen Hipsher, Martha Corrie. Twelve girls went out for cheer leading this year. Four were selected-Marjorie Price, Jo Ann Brinkley, Gretchen Hipsher, and Martha Corrie. Marjorie is a freshman and a newcomer to Allendale. However, she was grade school yell leader at Iuka. Jo Ann is a sophomore and this is her second year of yell leading for Allendale High School. She also was grade school yell leader while in the eighth grade. Gretchen is a senior. This is her third year to lead cheers for Allendale High School and she was yell leader during her seventh and eighth grades in school. Martha is also a senior. Because she had never been a cheerleader before, she had the hardest job of all, but she very successfully completed it. The girls have done fine work this year. They have followed the team faithfully and tried to cheer them on to victory. We, the school, are proud of them and congratulate them for a job well done.
