..,.,..a.,.,.-.,.. M MGH 5 ...........,...... GLEE CLUB 'Yi Left to right: Back row: Ann Madden, Beth Wolfe, Joan Price, Martha Corrie, Earlene Saltsgaver, Eileen Shepard. Middle row: Mrs, Busenhart, Ruth Reed, Edith Polk, Dorothy Lither- land, Rose Marie Dudley, Edith Thompson. Front row: Alicia Beasley, Carolyn Trimble, Marjorie Leek, Maxine Mullinax, Jo Ann Brinkley. The glee club has not done very much work this year. They have sung at the Fall Concert and the Junior Play. They and the octette, too, plan to sing at the Spring Concert, Baccalaureate, and Com- mencement. We' hope to carry our glee club work over into next year and make a bigger success of it. OCTETTE 'if Left to right: Back row: Mrs. Busenhart, Ruth Reed, Martha Corrie, Joan Price, Eileen Shepard. Front row: Marjorie Leek, Maxine Mullinax, Dorothy Litherland, Edith Thompson, Ann Madden. Th-e octette has proved to be quite a success this season and they are looking forward to the future. As for the past they participated with their greatest ability in singing for the Fall Concert and Junior Play. And for the future they plan to sing at the Spring Concert, the Junior and Senior Banquet, Baccalaureate, Commencement, and at a few local churches. Mrs. Busenhart, their musical director, and Joan Price, their pianist, have both spent a large amount of time in working with the octette in trying to make it the greatest success possible. With the octette, Joan, and Mrs. Busenhart all cooperating together, we believe it will become an even greater success.
