LEN TOWNSHIP CENTRALIZED SCHOOL-431-92-4 Freshmen Class History HE Freshmen Class has been called upon in its infancy for a contribution to the first annual of the Allen Township Centralized School. Although we have enjoyed but one year with the upper classmen, we feel that our short history is worthy of notice. The class entered upon its High School career with seventeen boys and sixteen girls. Each one was welcomed and duly initiated into high school at the annual Freshmen Reception, held September nineteenth, in the school auditorium. During the year the Freshmen have taken part in various school activities. Some of the boys tried to be football playersg none of them starred, however. Among those who played basketball are Trevalyn Abbott, Ruthanna Brinkman and Clair Flanagan. The annual lnter Class Contest was an event looked forward to by all and especially by contestants. Although we did not win the cup, some splendid numbers were given by the Freshmen and the oration delivered by Gershom Poole won second place. lfve hope that in years to come a large number of our class will be stars in football, basketball, baseball and track.
