Patriots on Parade , the school newspaper, is in it's second year of publication. Each month's issue is devoted to school news, including guest editorials, notes from the Principal's desk, safe driving features, roses, thistles, wee wonders, Patriot Polls, Patriot Holidays, and other features. The aim of the journalism class, which is responsible for the paper, is to include as many Allen County High students names as possible throughout the year while pro- viding good reading in an acceptable journalistic manner. This year the club has a total of thirty-three members. The purpose of the club is to make students aware of what goes into a newspaper, whether it be a big city newspaper or Patriots on Parade, and to create an interest in the journalistic approach to writing.
