Each recipient wears the jacket representing Alleghany High School with pride and honor. On the jacket is worn an A that stands for Alleghany. On this A, metals and awards, earned by the in- dividual are worn. The green and gold jacket can be seen on many alumni at many athletic events in the years to come.
