HERMAN KOEGEL President Vice-President Secretary Trea.t-urcr THE SENIOR CLASS The Senior Class of '34, writing its history, feels much as a young man of twenty might feel if he were asked to write the story of his life. A past needs to be dimmed by many years before it can be quite safely transferred to paper. It took us several weeks back in the good old month of September, 1933, to realize that we were actually Seniors, and at least twice as many months to forget it again. Of course, we occupied the front seats when the school assembled in the auditorium, and moved with a great deal more dignity, otherwise, school life pro- ceded much as before. L It is difficult for us to express our gratitude to our faculty and fellow-students, yet we shall never forget the guidance and kindness of the former, and the co-oper- ation of the latter during our school life at Allegany. We hope and firmly believe that you will continue to hold high the standards of our school. We trust that the Class of '34 may leave a few footprints on the sands of Allegany, that you who follow will be proud to emulate. , ll
