The Crusaders draw near and stand mwtionless as the candidate brings his sword down upon the sturdy war club. A LLIGEW I l930 Senior' Class History OMETHlNG LOST, something gainedl That is the thought of every senior, when he bids goodbye to dear old Allegany on Commencement Day. He dons his suit of armor that Allegany has given him and rides forth on life's broad highway with its many paths and byways of success and failure to reach his goal. He remembers his Sophomore year, filled with timidity of the large and spacious building and his upper classmatesg his junior year, full of school activi- tiesg and lastly, his Senior year, supreme with superiority and scholastic and social events. Excitement and Importance? Yes! Together with his friends, he has attained his goal through his work of four years. Their paths diverge. He has nothing now but fond memories of Alle- gany.
