Dedication i M I-Ili class of l927 deems it an honor and a privilege to dedicate this, the sixth volume bf' 'TEX of the Alligevvi, to our new Allegany High lQmQN School, as the embodiment of our ideals, 5, and as the symbol of learning and culture. ' The school marks one more step forward in the development of education. The class of '27 wishes to take this opportunity to express its ap- preciation of the golden opportunities aFforded us, in our new school, made possible only by the efforts of the Board of liducation, the citizens of Cumber- land, and our Principal and teachers. The class of '27 has endeavored to raise high the beacon light of learning that it may be a guiding star to those who follow after us.
