We saw changes in ourselves as our training progressed. We began our freshman year as a class of nine: Vicki Bell, Darlene Kelly, Louise Hafford, Marie Hafford, Brent Pelletier, Pam Gardner, James Kelly, Sheldon Hafford, and Cyrus Hafford. Sheldon left school to seek employment. Cyrus moved away with his family. At the beginning of our sophomore year, we were joined by Reginald Blueboy Jackson and Ricky McBreairty. Again we were a class of nine. In December, 1975, we were joined by Lucia Fernandez, an exchange student from Bra- zil. She attended classes with us until she returned home in February, 1976. Knowing Lucia was a pleasant part of our junior year. Here we are, seniors, Nine classmates who have been together for three years are now graduating. We have finally made it! We have completed the educational experience at Allagash High School. Wherever we go from here, we will always remember our days at Allagash High! WE FEEL IT IS NOT THE END BUT THE BEGINNING! Through his strength and determination he shows us, that anyone can be happy even though they have a handicap. 15 f N UE UORY OF BOYD McBREAfRTY There is so much to be said at the loss of a friend; Where do you being and where does it all end Boyd's Always smiling, joking stuttering, warmth vanished from our earth Young, freckled, redhead forever missed WHY? God's work still is a mystery to those he left behind; For them it is more difficult so Please God be kind. A FRIEND 17 We, the senior class of 1977, proudly dedicate our yearbook, the Highlan- der to Mr. Jalbert. He has spent many hours in develop- ing pictures - from late at night to early morning. The seniors can not suffi- ciently express their appreciation. We thank him for laboring with us to make the yearbook a success. We wish Mr. Jalbert luck and success in his future years. 18 CtA££ OP 1978 LEFT TO RIGHT: Kim Hafford, loyia Jackson, Benton Kelly, Wilda Hughes, Betty Gardner, Lynn Kelly. Student Council Rep. PiUvCtpcJ! ’$ Uessoge Congratulations on your successful completion of four years of high school. Undoubtedly you all have had many happy experiences both at work and play. You are now entering a new phase of your life which demands far greater responsibilities with less parental guidance. In order to meet these responsibilities, you should continue your education at an institution of higher learning. To the Graduating Class of 1977, I wish you happiness and success. 24 LINDA McBREAIRTY, Secretary 25 MRS. SANDRA WOODS Vocational MR. JAMES GARDNER Vocational MR.
