(j ass Jfistoru Paddling our boats up a crooked treacherous stream, we the Senior Class of 1971, began our Freshman year with twenty-four class members. There were: Lois Gardner, Colby Hafford, Dwight Hafford, GaryHafford, Kathrine Jackson, Loomis Jackson, Sterlin Jackson, Susan Jackson, Terry Jackson, Bernard McBreairty, Carney McBreairty, Janice McBreairty, McClaren McBreairty, No- la McBreairty, Norma McBreairty, Regina McBreairty, Rhonda McBreairty, Ava Mullins, Pamela Pelletier, Paul Pelletier, Verley Pelletier, Wesley Pelletier, Doris Robichaud, and Sandra Walker. During the year Sterlin Jackson left us to work for Tylor Kelly, Pamela Pelletier left us to attend school in Hollowell, Maine, and Paul Pelletier left us to attend school in Fort Kent, Maine. We entered our Sophomore year with twenty-one members. During that year Bernard McBreairty left us to work for Leonard Kelly and Carney McBreairty left us to work for his father. Our Junior year found us with nineteen members. In the fall, Verley Pel- letier left us to enjoy married life, as Mrs. Calvin Hafford. Shortly after this, Ava Lou Mullins left us and joined her parents in St. John. Finally our Senior year found us with sixteen members. Gary Hafford en- listed in the Marines and did not join us in our final year. Here we are, those sixteen students who made it through the struggle. Even though it was discouraging at times, we feel that we have not struggled in vain.
