HISTORY - CLASS OF 1969 Once upon a time long, long ago there were three little girls and one little boy who grew and grew and grew until they were big enough to enter Allagash High School as fresh- men. The .parents were very proud of their children and hoped that they would glean much knowledge from their new halls of learning. During the second year of their stay at Allagash High School these four students were joined by a newcomer from a distant town. This newcomer was Mary O'Leary. The second year was especially eventful for the class of '69 for, along with gaining one new student, two were lost. Donna Walker moved to a large city in Massachusetts to seek her fortune. Daphne Kelly fell in love with her Prince Charming and became a housewife. Thus there were three members of the class of '69 working toward their goal of gradu- ation. During their last year Mary O'Leary traveled to a distant town to enter a larger school. This left one girl and one boy, both quite grown now, to complete the program of Allagash High School and to graduate in June of 1969. This girl and this boy were Cynthia Harvey and Wayne McBrearity. 17
