LESTER MARVIN WALKER NANCY ANN HENDERSON Class President 9, 10 Vice-President 11 Student Council Rep. 12 Office Staff 10,11, 12 Bookmobile Staff 10, 11, 12 Yearbook Staff 12 Basketball 11 Speaking Contest 9 Class President 11 Class Secretary 11 Vice-President 12 CLASS HSITORY Fresh and eager to learn, we began our Freshman year at Allagash High School with seven students: Nancy Henderson, Myrna Clark, Lester Walker, Dale O'Leary, Jan Soucy, Calvin Hafford, and Clayton Jackson. We completed our Freshman year and began our Sophomore year with the same group of students. During our Junior year, Clayton Jackson moved to Conn, to live with relatives and Calvin Hafford left us to serve with the U. S. Army. However, we gained a student that year also. Elwood McBreairty joined our class after he rejoined our high school. That year complete, we began our Senior year minus another student, Jan Soucy, who moved to Conn, with his parents. So here we find ourselves with only five students in our Senior Class: Nancy Hender- son, Myrna Clark, Lester Walker, Dale O'Leary, and Elwood McBreairty. Nevertheless, each of the five Seniors eagerly anticipate graduation day -- the day that the doors of Allagash High School will close behind us forever. We will leave it with gratefulness for what it has done for us, for the preparation it has given us so that we may be better equipped to face the world on our own. We also express thanks to our teachers who have given us guidance throughout grammar school. To the Faculty and the undergraduates, we leave our best wishes for success at Allagash High School. 9
