YOUNG MISTWESS BAVLEY BY SISTER JEAN DE CFKNTAL The outstanding performance of Wyoung Mistress Bay was given March 18th by the Senior Class of 1945. It was a great success and thus rewarded the tireless ef- forts of the S3U3Dl'S faculty and students. The play portrays only the childhood and youth of MDEUGF Seton, Cathalic Saint soon to he ccnonized. It is a vivid portrayal of the noble character of thii out standing American women. There is HJtOiR2 miraculous nothing superhuman in this story, just c noble human character in the joys and sorrows of fwmily and school life. The play brings her near to us, it makes us un- derstand the nobility of s child and young girl which was destined to lead her to greatness in lcter life. ley We hope that this play will instill thc szme vir- tue in life of modern youth who need such noble ex- amples to lead them UUFDUEU the difficulties of our own times.
