VICTCRIES A LOSSES February 6, 1945-All Saints vs. St. Mhry's Mt. Morris 33-ll All Saints rebuffed Mt. Morris St. Mary's with a wanler- ful score this time at Berston. At the half me were in the lead, 16-6, in fact it was that way through out the game. Dan Urbanik paced ahead with 15 points, followed by Jr3el's six. Reserve team downed the out of town school, Q?-6. February 9, 1945-All Saints vs. St. Kichuel's 45-40 The Saints toppled the Mikes friday, by downing them 48- 40. The quint'ceme from behind in the third ceriod, tying the score 29 for both. In thc f.nwl session, the gold and Blue quint scored 19 points, although losing Jagel and xogsner on foulf. Urbanik and Jegel accounted for they're 14 and 13 points respectively. St. Michael's reserves won 26-24. February 13, 1945-All Saints Vs. St. Kary's Mt. Norris 79-16 tThe Gold and Blue quinted set the scoring mark when they tramped St. Mary's of Mt. Horris there. 75-16 was the detest. As coach Len Jasinski put it, UThe boys were fcclinv exubprfnt about winning over St. Michaels last Fridnv.W Dan UrLnnik tos- sed in 26 yoints, Eddie Jagel 15, and Roesnur 14. The previous Flint high wrs the 67 points rzched ug by Elint Tech over Clic. earlier this season, but the Saints topped them all. The Scint reserve team else put up and excellent game, finrl score ccing 38-26. George Gcralczyk tossed in the first bucket, while Butch 1ucilowski,sunk down flli. February 16, 1945-All Saints vs. M. S. D. 51-23 ln the first session of the game, M. S. D. took the lend the Saints, ylayinz the :mme in n dazed manner. Thrcuqh the courtesy of Dan Urbnnik, and Ld Jegel's fine pwssinu, the Gold and Blue Wuint tied the score, later tekinf the land, Eugene . VICTORIES E LOSSES January 16, 1945-p-A1 ,Saints vs. Beecher 44-31 This game was an easy game to take. Dan Urbanik hit it for 18 points, Jim Roeener also playing fine hall. In the third session the quint epurted 13 points, to net the 50-16 margin over Beecher. The Reserve team lost to Beecher 26-20. January 20, 1945--All Sainte vs. Flint Tech 19-26 Through much greater height, Flint Tech turned on steam in the last muarter of the game to take ue 26.19. During the first quarter, Tech benefited from the Sta. Bad passing, but after the half, the Blue and Gald were ahead 13-17 from the successful left-handed snot put in by Dyke Diehie. Urtanik was put out on personal fouls. Reserves lost, Gus Sykes tossing in 12 points. January 23, 1945---A11 Sainte vs, St. Ui:hael'e St. Mikes dropped the Blue and Gcld Quintet, 27-25 which gave them the Parochial League lead. ,The Saints muffed 10 out of ll free throws, causing the lose. Reserve game was won by St.N1kes althou Gus Sykes made 15 points. January 50, 1945---All Saints vs. Mt. Torris 24-26 It was our third loss in a row, when Vr. Vorrie beat us tUEt 30th day of January at Berston. It was a close game, but they had their luck, Dan Urk nik teased in B points, playing good hall. -At the half the score was 15 to 7. Our reaerve team won 16-15. February 2, 1945-All Sints ve, Central Qecervee 35-22 There was no difficulty in taking the gan: afvinst Central Qeeervee. The Sainte :hed away to a ld-2 Juan- IDE. Again Den Urhcnik topned all with higc Mcorig' wee of ll points. Steve Vagiera following with 3, and Ui Jagel with 6.

February 20, 1945-- All Saints vs. St. MarU's 50 22 All Saints shared the City parochial busketholl n Q leadership with St. Michael, when we tremped Flint St. Mer7's at their gym, Tuesdev, 50-28. At the hal? the Saints took the lead, 19-18, and held it, until St. Mery's sunk in e busxet by Al Dowd, to tie tie Score, 28 up. With fifteen seconis reweinihg, Den Urbanik, made the game e happy farewell for our coach Goose Jesinski, by tosoirg in the final winning bucket. Urbanik was high with l5 points. In the reserve geme, St. Mary's won 27-17. February 25, 1945--All Saints vs. bt. Matthews 55 26 All Saints and St. Micheel's shared the basketbsll honors Friiey, when both schools were victorious. The Saints trimmed Bt. Metthew's at serston with LL enermous total of 53 points. Den Urbanik mede e 29 point totsl of hitting his buckets. There was no trouble ir plsvihg the Mett's, and at the half, the Goli and Blue Quint were in the lead 24-10, with Danny iroppine in his first seven attempts from the fieli. The Reserve game was also won by Reserves, with a final score of 27-17. February 27, 1945--All Saints vs. Swartz Creek 32 37 Another victory for the Goli and they downed Mary Crapo School of Swartz-Creek Tue Blue Quint, 'jg yu Q U E ' LL ff the night. During the first quarter, both teams pleved ex- cellently, the score being tied most of the periol, but after the half, the Saints, took the lead until the finish- ing session. Jim Roesner topped all with 17 points respect- ively, while Urbenik and Jsgel followed with 12. In the Reserve game Ted St-: aa was high with 10 points, Final score, 25-9.-
