W m 'm1u.,., Wx 26 f Library The library at our school is used for more then just the storage of books. lt is also used as a nurse's station for all those people with headaches, the sickies , nose bleeds, cuts, bruises, and all other aches and pains. Teachers also use it for a place to hang out and grade papers and for students it's a place to find all the book report books. Preschoolers think of it as a Mystery of the Big School . They see the story teller and other things there when they come to visit. First graders have their story time once a week and other grades use it to show movies. Mrs. Baker is always trying to make the library a comfortable place for the students who enjoy to read and all the others as well. She has art shows, guest authors, meetings, Scarbooker Faire , medical records, and just about everything else. She assists all students looking for all those authors whose names we can't pronounce and a lot that we can. To some students the library is a mystery because the books are impossible to find, but after the computerized card file is done that will no longer be a problem. Mrs. Baker keeps getting more books and assistants are trying to file all the new ones and the old ones as well. Let's hope that the collection of new as well as old books continues to grow. ws
