Counselor With today’s faster pace, economics has tak- en a higher priority in students’ lives. Students must mature and have their life together at an earlier age. I pray that we do not lose track of what high school is all about. ‘‘Let’s stop and smell the roses along the way. ” Mr. Haut. My high school days were far from the usual. Only my fresh- man year was the traditional exper- ience of teachers, bells, five sub- jects. lunch time and games. Right after ninth grade m family sailed for Yokota. Japan,J where my father was stationed in the Air1 Force. Because of no available school, we had' to take USAFI correspondence courses. All as-' signments and exams were sent in by mail. Theyy would be corrected, graded, and returned by some unknown person. I was not able to have any lab courses so taking science and biology in college was extremely difficult not having been exposed to such during high school. 1. Miss Wieland — Math, Science 2. This kind of attitude can overcome any obstacles. — Sr. Mary Ann “Course offerings are much richer than they were in the past. I feel All Saints is really trying to prepare our young people for the world they will have to face after graduation from here. ” — Sr. Bertha “High School course offerings are more exten- sive today than they were when I went to school. Students today have the opportu- nity to get more involved in the community part of school credit then what did.” — Sr. Rose “The years I have taught here at A.S.C. are my real high school experiences and so. like all of our high school stu- dents. I am truly enjoying being here as much as any of the stu- dents. ” Mr. Lewandowski “High school today is very similar to my High School years — foods and activities seem to reflect one another — Miss Isanhart “It has always been the people who have made All Saints out- standing.
