Wait, don’t turn away, here comes the court and they’re here to stay. The girls are in dresses awaiting their escorts, forming a line on the field. The Queen is crowned, all turn around to see the kiss from the king. Halftime’s over, get up and fight. Show the “Owls” our Cougar might. 11. Pep Rally The whole school came together for a very special day. Each class showed their spirit in their own outstanding way. The cheerleaders and pompon girls performed exciting feats, and all the football players polished up their cleats. Now the final moment had arrived for every- one to see; the announcing of Queen Nanette and also King Bobby. So we packed up all our energy, our liveliness and zest, for on that night at St. Joe’s field the Oscoda Owls were put to rest. 6.
