After missing a spot on the 1980 U.S. Olympic Team, she found victory to be sweet a year later. We are proud of you and our best wishes will always be with you. ALL SAINTS FOOTBALL Along time ago when they were just boys They won a few games and made alot of noise. They worked real hard, so one day they’d be great. And in their Senior year; they wanted to win state. They worked hard in double sessions and put up with all the crap And worked hard even harder on a two three trap. So on fourth and one, they could give the ball to Lance, And when the play was over; in the end-zone they could dance. All set? You bet! Let’s go, se-two Came the call from the quarterback, Gregory Lou. On third and ten, he’d throw like a gun And their captain, Al, would catch it and run. Through fierce battles they went 9 0 And of the state playoffs, they dreamed they would go. They’d finally get their chance to play at the Dome, But a computer in Lansing said, “All Saints stay home. They’ll never know if they could have won And earned the right to be called number one. I’d say they’re number one, and I’ll say it loud To be a member of that team has made me proud! Through our efforts as high school stu- dents, we hope that what was accomplished throughout the year will linger in the thoughts of everyone that was touched by our presence. Let us remember that the end of the school year does not mean an end of learning. We must do our best at everything we do in order to continue the All Saints tradition. As the talents and skills that we use echo out from us, we should remember where the echo began. 128 Closing • {fc- :! ? .'•£' 'W .Js - -X: f '•'■ '■ '■ o _ . v ■ — •, -y - t ■ : '• i - 'v; y ; vn. .
