Cheryl budzinski an expression of human feelings ... lynn meagher 57 CUaUj if “the moria cnrimi Oivtr, t d artat Mww t. t s u net 0 art Mas w +wkmmifi f b«t that wt n ay iS to my friends through these years of learning life, of giving so much to each other, we seldom experienced an embrace, or the holding together of our hands, rarely hearing a thank you for your great goodness and beauty; i am thanking you just now. we started out as helpless seeds — needing time to grow, and as these last days are counted, we will leave wildly blossomed with contentment, knowing we lived through so much sorrow; but never undergoing it alone, and rejoicing at the rememberance of so much laughter being flooded with tears of joy. you are all so brilliant in your own ways and as we enter a new world beyond these doors, we will follow our own expectations. and be somewhat saddened of our departure; but understand that with us we will carry out that love that has formed in all of us and present it to many new lives who will be in need of it. i want so much for all of you everything that you have given me and whatever makes your lives complete. waiting, wanting, hating, loving, stifling thought, tangled freedom. living lies, meaningless aims, nothing to grasp, fleeting happiness, joy a memory to be forgotten, love, the simple salvation beyond a complex soul. debby bartkwoiak everytime i try to be a human, i am an object. everytime i try to be a lover, i am a toy. everytime i try to be a friend, i am only an outcast. isn’t it funny, everytime i want to be a somebody, i am only a something, a puppet in life's pantomime. but most of all i wish you LOVE. doreen gibowski karen rytlewski first prize 58 searching i love to lie on the ground beside a little spring where small things hide. one day i saw a fish so small, he seemed to me no fish at all. you must look hard down into springs you must lie still to see small things. sue drzewicki artwork: 1. cindy tomasqzwski third prize 2. derek levasseur sometimes — on a well travelled path sometimes when i've almost decided to .give up. i think of all the loves: which have never been loved — which will never be loved — because some coward gave up. so i keep on going, turning falling running and trying, but at least, i'm going, even if it hurts, and the end isn't clear, i know i’m on a well travelled path. joe labella 59 debbie satkowiak lynn meagher second prize the word w ishingsomeone would find me. lostamid them e ven though they are more interesting than i. b ut i know that s omewhere, someplace, i'll fit in. t omorrow is almost here, and i don't really mind e xcept for the fact that r ight now i don't know where i'll be in a new day's s unshine. n ow is the time for a change of scenery, e xciting things must await me w herever i go. c onstant reminders of the past 0 r even the future 1 et me know what to expect. I et me know what to do while (e ven though i am afraid to) g oing in and out of an i nsurmountable maze of a venues that t ell me e verything is hard to reach. 60 d own deep i nside i know that c ountless numbers of people are t aking advantage of me. i n my confusion o nly the friends i have n ow, will stay a long beside me. showing me new r oads to look down, where y ou may be hiding. mary beth frasik second prize debbie rohde things look so beautiful to me! i'm suddenly in a story where the good guys are winning, finally believing in a happy end. my surroundings have taken an aura of beauty, i hope to god things don't change, a very big part of all this is you. you've helped me to break through these outer shadows and realize the lovliness within. this probably won't last forever, then again neither will i. my life has been so much fuller because if this living dream. maybe i’m looking through rose-colored glasses or maybe i'm really not seeing at all but if that’s so, then i'll close my eyes and make NOW last as longas i can. donna Zielinski he sits, his wheel chair facing the large wrought iron barred window, staring, his deep brown eyes focus at nothing, only flashes in his mind: a man lying in his own pool of blood families homeless in streets reeking of death .. a child sitting on the rubble of his home, dirty, and crying, with fear stricken eyes ... it’s gone, all of it, a memory, the past, he crys like a child, his eyes stricken with fear. his aftermath of war. anne poirier mary arm lavasseur 61 all saints chorus groups welcome “music man” ronald d’aoust 1. a new voice has joined the ranks of the all saints music department: presenting, maestro ronald d’aoust. 2. the madrigals, a highly specialized chorus group, enter- tain Christmas shoppers at the fashion square mall. 2. 1. our senior chorus needs no introduction, but ellen heric confesses that it was she who caused mr. d'aoust to frown. 2. a one a two a three conducts mr. d'aoust. 3. the talented voices of the sophomores and fresh- man combine to form the south campus chorus. all saint’s chorus’ bellow out pop, contemporary and religious music 64 (standing) donna dolson junior, paula suchodolski junior, paulette suchodolski junior, cheryl budzinski junior, (sitting) donna zielmski se- nior. ellen heric senior, julie holka senior, joann Wisniewski senior. cheerleaders inspire enthusiasm we got soul hey, everybody knows jv’s and frosh cheerleaders move spirit and pride to enthusiastic saints j. v. cheerleaders: (front)4 laurie krawczyk, debbie satkowiak. sue lagalo. kathy ayotte (back) sue poirier. mary socia, connie witucki. janet wismewski. freshmen: sue woody, laurie watts, rose donelly, cathy krawczyk.
