Fifty years ago Br. Fitzgerald joined the Christian Brothers of Ireland. What can be said about him? He speaks with his heart and his heart burns with love for the greater glory of Cod. He has scattered the storms in many a mind and left there peace and contentment. We, who have known him so well, owe him a great debt - one that can never be repaid. For to us all he has been a scholar, a gentleman, and most of all, a friend. cl clicat . .. We wish to give thanks to a most faithful and devoted friend of All Hallows, Mr. Christopher Heffernan, who this year celebrates his 26th year of service here. During his stay he has played a vital role in fostering our education and planning our future. Mr, Heffernan has long been known for his generous spirit of help to all and for that inevitable kind word to all his students. We salute him as a most loyal friend of All Hallows, and as the personification of all that makes the true Catholic gentleman. J

Your high school graduation marks such a milestone in your lives, a mixed mark- ing, partially pleasant because you have achieved some note of success, partially un- pleasant, because you are leaving friends and breaking ties formed over many years and moulded in an environment and an atmosphere with those whose aims were similar to yours, namely, to grow in knowledge and especially to grow in the know- ' d d country. ledge, love and service of Go an Spending four years of one's life in any one endeavor is an appreciable amount of time, but to have spent it usefully is indeed an accomplishment of which one may well be proud.
