RD UCLEU FORMS STRE GTH OF GIRL 'TRACK The coach of this year's girls' track team was Mrs. Connie Barton. The captains of the team this year were Kathy Conley and Gloria Roscoe, both Veterans of several years. The team was well prepared to meet competition this year with returning lettermen Elenore Rykowski, sprints, Kathy Conley, middle distance, Naomi Paz, long distance, Becky Smith, sprints, Mary Gerbic, hurdles, Emi Romig, sprints, Lydia Rameriz, field events, sprints, and Linda Flores, sprints. By defeating King City at Alisal early in the season the team started strong and stayed strong through the remainder of the season. O - ..,...w-547 N N L'LL Q GAA PARTICIPATES IN N NUAL I ITIATIO DAY G.A.A. held their annual lnitiation Day for their new memhers and two new P.E. coaches, Miss Little and Miss DiVall. A required dress code was worn by the new members of the cluh as part of the initiation. Games were played in the amphitheater at lunch time followed by an after sehool initiation which included walking through Mljhe Path Of the Unknown , getting sprayed with shaving cream and a hose, and a refreshing swim in the pool.
