CHEERLEADERS INSTILL VICTORIOUS SPIRIT AT ALISAL The year 1970-71 was a very busy year for the cheerleaders and their advisor, lVliss Little. Among their many activities was the winning of the third place trophy in competition held at Fremont. They led our spirited rooting section to a victorious win at the Jamboree and The Most Outstanding Rooting Sectionu Award at the Paul If. VValter's Basketball 'Iiournament. Fund raising events consisted of car washes and numerous bake sales. During the summer, three of the members traveled to the cheerleading camp held at Squaw Valley where they learned many new cheers.
