The latter course. first offered this year. permits students to enroll in language, mathematics and science classes in addition to their regular commercial subjects. Typing also is offered for non-commercial students: and twice- weckly after-school typing classes are very popular. MR. WILLIAM REINISH, commercial department head, may have a lest in mind for his senior business math students. Mr. Reinish also directs the evening school program and serves as a counselor in the guidance department. DEIIITS AND CREDITS must be equal, say bookkeeping in- structors Mrs. Geraldine Evanko and Miss Martha Mooney. Miss Mooney also teaches second-year students, and Mrs. Evanko includes typing and general math in her schedule. 24 Commercial sub jects train MR. WILLIAM MASLANIK pauses before checking assign- ments turned in by his business economics students. Mr. Mas- lanik also teaches Russian I and II and sponsors the Russian Club. 2
