In their re- spective order, these subiects are taught by Mrs. Fleming, Mr. Biechler, Mr. Brittain, Mr. Brobeclc, and Mr. Petty. INDUSTRIAL ARTS Additional shop instruction is offered to students not enrolled in the Industrial depart- ment. These courses range from two periods per week to ten periods depending on the stu- dents course. Mr. Crawford heads instruction in mechanical drawing. HEALTH ci PHYSICAL EDUCATION Mr. Sam Milanovich Mr. Roger Iones Essential to a growing mind is a healthy body. Thus in gym classes we are schooled in the proper manner of exercise and a realiza- tion of its importance. In health classes we are taught the im- portance and necessity of practicing good health habits and hygiene. Senior classes also carry a complete first-aid course. SPECIAL TEACHERS Safe Driving, a new-comer to the school curriculum, is handled jointly by Mr. Uram and Mr. Battles. After school and evening Safe Driving instruction is provided for towns-people with both the classroom and in-the-car instruc- tion. Mrs. Iessie B. Kirk, our librarian, in addi- tion to managing one of the most modern school libraries in Western Pennsylvania, instructs ninth graders in the use of the library. Mrs. A. G. Martin, our guidance director, helps students select the courses for which they are best suited.
